About Mill Creek Garden Club

Mill Creek Garden Club was founded in 1998 by a group of neighbors who wanted to share what they were learning in their own backyards — and to channel that knowledge into the public spaces of their town. Almost three decades later, the club supports more than 300 members, funds a slate of annual community grants, maintains four civic garden sites, and hosts a year-round calendar of programs open to members and the public.

What we do

  • Monthly programs on practical horticulture, ecology, and garden design — open to members and the public
  • The annual Garden Tour, a self-guided tour of member gardens that doubles as our largest fundraiser
  • Spring mini-grants for school garden programs, food bank growing projects, and neighborhood pollinator corridors
  • Member-staffed civic garden plots at four locations across Mill Creek

Membership powers the work

We are a member-supported organization. Membership dues, Garden Tour ticket sales, and direct donations fund every grant, every program, and every shovel of mulch that goes onto a civic garden bed. Join as a Garden Member for $8 per month, or step up as a Sustaining Steward to vote on our annual grant slate.
